Coolest Museum Ever!

Well, I suppose the title says it all. We spent the morning out on the lake boating, skiing, wakeboarind, kneeboarding and enjoying the perfect weather and warm water. It was a gorgeous day and we were the only boat out there which made it perfect conditions for me to do some tricks on the wakeboard. We had a great time because it wasn't too hot or too cold. We came in for lunch and had sandwiches. This afternoon we did something really cool. We went to the St. Louis City Museum. Now if you haven't heard of it...look it up. Basically it's an entire 11 story adult jungle gym playground made out of trash and recycled junk. Literally there is a school bus on the roof and an airplane accessible only by copper wired tunnels in the air that look like they came straight out of Narnia. Walls are made of painted tubes or old fast-food restaurant metal containers. I felt like a little kid again! We climbed around and played in the old-school classic video game arcade and took pictures with every random recycled item we found. You get from one floor to the next by going down slides and you could spend an entire day finding new passageways and tunnels. I don't know who thought of this place, but it's the coolest "museum" I've ever been to. The highlight for me was the 10-story spiral slide. It takes you all the way from the roof of the building to the first floor. You should have seen how dizzy we were trying to stand up at the bottom. It was so cool though! This is one crazy museum and definitely worth the trip if you're ever in St. Louis.
After the City Museum we went to the world famous custard place called Ted Drewes. You can get tons of different flavors of custard mixed together in what's called a "concrete". I had marshmellow and it was delicious. No Menchie, but delicious for sure! :) Tonight we grilled shrimp and ribs and ate out on the patio watching the boats. At sunset we took a nice leisurely cruise around the lake until it was dark. I read a little and watched the end of Wedding Crashers with the fam before heading off to blog and sleep. And now, having completed the former, I shall perform the later.
P.S. My aunt let me drive her Lexus convertible! SO RAD!
